Live Demonstrations 2008
Live demonstrations are organised to enable Exhibitors, in an operational environment, to demonstrate how their advanced technologies and innovative developments meet the latest requirements of the Armed Forces, Protection and Security Services.
On a 50 000 m² display area, located 300m from the outdoor Exhibition area, an obstacle course is built to ensure that vehicles and equipment capabilities and performance can be demonstrated in the most effective manner. Transport to take spectators to and from the Live Demonstrations area is provided.
A video control room with several cameras enables the broadcasting of the demonstration high point with real time images on a giant screen in the spectators grandstand. Video sequences show capabilities which can’t be demonstrated such as live firing or operations in overseas theatre…
Coges coordinates daily demonstrations of exhibitors’ vehicles and/or equipment, with a one-hour display each morning (except Monday), and another similar display each afternoon (except Friday), at the following times -
Morning: between 11:00 and 12:00hrs
Afternoon: between 15:30 and 16:30hrs
